Valentine's day

This day is so special. Every year was different but this year pruthvi showered his love. He bought me a bag, a plant and cookies and we had yummy pizza for dinner.  Since the year we fell in love he never did something like this on valentine's day for us. In fact we never celebrated. Just an I love you message made our day. I remember how I made a beautiful hand made card for pruthvi on our first year of marriage. He was so impressed. In the evening while he returned from his office he brought a few valentine's day special donuts which I happily savoured. My tummy and heart were full. I have been making cards and writing letter every year on this day. But this year he really did something unusual for him. He never believed in celebrating just one day for love. But finally I had that dream come true. 

I am so full with happiness. I had tears in my eyes..

హెచ్చదు ఏ మతమూ..
విధ్వంసంతో పొందే హక్కు

Freedom

 One day ..

I'll not babber anymore

I'll not cry for you anymore

I'll not ask you to stay back

I'll not fight with you

I'll not question you anymore

And since that day you will have all the freedom you wanted.

Mom,

 I know you wanna rest for a few minutes more

I know your tired of cooking meals everyday

I know your stressed and you want a break

I know you want to be pampered just as u do to us

I know you wanna lay back and watch your fav shows

When you keep running all day long 

You are the Sun that runs our world

With you we nourish and shine better

With you we are always loved unconditionally 

You are the moon that calms us down

With you we are pleasant after a long day 

The world runs by you and yet you are shadowed as just another human.. I now know what it is to be a mom and what efforts you put in as I birthed a child

I wish I could  cook for you and care for you as I care for my child. 

I wish I could pamper you as you pampered me as a kid.

From being a lazy girl who wakes mid day

To waking up after a long sleepless night

From being a boss lady getting all her things done

To making three or more meals a day

From being the most pampered in the home

To taking care of everyone in the home

Running errands and learning new things

Stressful and struggling but still keeping everyone happy

Sculpturing from a girl into a mother each day

Life, love, serene, precious.

Rainy day

Droplets on leaves..

Misty air 

Wet all around 

Tiny puddles to hop on

Cloudy sky 

Dripping roofs 

though dull and gloomy..

A cup of tea and a book to read

A cozy nap wrapped in rug

Hot yummy fritters 

Romantic talks

snuggling loved ones

sneaking through the window 

Witnessing the unveiling beauty 

Poets penning his thoughts 

Artists brushing the paint

Another humming a song 

U still make a lovely day.

Perfect

 The splendid  sky is never the same sometimes blue and serene ,sometimes dark and  furore

The beautiful moon changes its shape and size once a full moon and once never seen

The profound wide sea quite at times but loud and sound when the storm hits by

The brightest Sun though shines high fades in the dawn and sets for another day

All that is mighty and pretty has its own flaws and is perfectly imperfect for how it has to be 

My Little One

He was a little bean a tiny beat which skipped my heart

Grew up to a being in my body kicking and moving 

Came out as a new form of love 

Spread joy every passing day 

Thought me strength and resilience 

Gave a new identity not just as mom

But reshaped my personality to fight through the odds

You are not just happiness but a Miracle 

And a Life who means more than the world.
